If you're planning a party or wedding and want DJ hire in Whickham, you're in the right place. I'm Micky, a one-man mobile DJ based in Gateshead and Newcastle. Whickham is right on my doorstep, so it's an area I'm happy to cover.
Who you'll be booking
When you book me, you get me. There's no agency and no stand-in on the night. I've been DJing for over 16 years, and I'll talk to you directly from your first message to the last song.
I also like to keep you comfortable about the practical side:
- £10 million public liability insurance, which many venues ask to see
- PAT tested equipment, so everything I plug in has been safety checked
- One friendly DJ who listens to what you want
Parties and events I can play in Whickham
Whatever you're celebrating, I can build the night around your crowd. Popular choices include:
- Wedding DJ for your ceremony music, first dance and evening party
- 18th and 21st birthday parties with the music your guests actually want to hear
- Party DJ for birthdays, anniversaries and family get-togethers
- Karaoke DJ when you'd like your guests to take the mic
- Themed parties and rave and bounce nights for something a bit different
Planning your night
Every venue is different, so I'll always ask a few simple questions before the day. I'll want to know the type of event, the age of your guests and the sort of music you like. I'll also ask about the space, so I can work out where to set up and make sure everyone can hear and enjoy the music.

Nearby areas
I work all over Tyne and Wear and beyond. If your event is close by but not in Whickham itself, have a look at my pages for Gateshead and Newcastle upon Tyne. I cover the wider North East too.
